Well I'm hoping there's a Digifas expert out there!

We have a 7100 drive faulting on an intermittent basis (two or three times daily). Each time the drive faults and will not reset for between 5 and 30 minutes.

Using the Siedel/Digifas software (DOS-type vserion 5A77) a message is shown stating "Ampl. Fault". This message can apparently be expanded to show more detail (according to the manual) but I don't know how to do it!

I'm not yet convinced that the fault isn't caused by the PLC removing the enable bit to the drive for an extremely short amount of time - I am of course invesigating this route as well, but that shouldn't prevent the drive from resetting. That said, it may still be useful to know how to see more details from the fault message.

Please help

Dave

Hey mate. Any chance of getting a copy of BS7200.EXE off you. I have a few of these drives but can't locate the software anywhere. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
