So I have finally had to bite the bullet and do some modifications to some Siemens PLC code written in TIA.

I have got both V10.5 and V11 professional versions.

I am trying to go online to the PLC but keep getting a message saying No accessible devices found in network.

There are 3 PLC's on the network and 2 HMI's with IP Addresses in the 192.168.0.xxx range and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. I have set my laptop with the same IP address 192.168.0.xxx and the same subnet mask.

I can ping all devices and get a reply back from all of the PLC's and the HMI's but cannot get online, upload or download from any of them.

I thought it might have something to do with my PG/PC interface, but have read that the TIA doesn't use this method.

I feel I am missing something really simple.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have disabled my firewall and there is only one network that I can select.

I spoke to Siemens yesterday but even they didn't know why I couldn't see the PLC's.

I am getting a copy of the program later today so I will try again then.
