This unit attached to B&R PLC but I cannot
Recognise it. No indication as stickers have come off. What is it?

Its attached to a motor and has a spinning shaft. No writing on the unit itself.

That's what I think. But not 100%sure. It only has 3 wires going inside it

May be a POT. Too much electronics though for a simple POT.

I think It says connessioni which in Italian means connection

No only at beginning of the cycle only. Then comes to stop. I think its used to position an overhead rollers in certain position before cycle starts.
