Hi.
I have and old S5 machine equipped with Closed Loop Controller cards IP262 and Stepper Motor Control module IP267 with Pacific Scientific 5630 microstep drive.

Drive moves the feeding belt in one direction for specified length in milimeters. No limit switches, constant speed.

As for loop controller I can replace it with analog input/output and PID inside the S7-1200.
What about the IP 267 module ? It communicates with the drive only with Step+ Step- / Direction+ Direction- 24VDC signals.

I can't find any S7-1200 module that enables use of 4 signals. Manuals for built-in only use 2 outputs for Step/Direction.

Can I replace IP267 with built-in S7-1200 pulse train outputs ?

Any clue would be appreciated. Thanks in andvance.
