Allen Bradley 525 inverter

Hi guys ,

I'm running a small screw transfer conveyor from an Allen Bradley 525 inverter

It is fully covered and trqnsfers product from the bottom of a silo bin out into a hopper

I want it to run on power up and have it linked between t1 (24v ) and t2 ( dig in run fwd )

I also have parameter a543 set to 1 to allow run on power up

My question is this ,

I now want to drive the inverter with a 0-10v signal but need a way of making sure the
The minimum start speed is 7hz so I don't stall the motor by trying to run it too slow
Is this possible to define in the inverter

Look at P043 in the drive, set that to limit the min freq output.

Parameter 43 "Minimum Freq" is what sets the minimum speed command from the VFD.

Are you saying that you need to start at a higher speed and it is okay after that to drop below 7hz depending on your analog input?

Yes. You can define your Minimum and Maximum Hz of your drive for the 0-10V input.

Take a look at P043 and P044. Those should be all you need.
