Hello All,


We are taking a serial data from a barcode scanner to a AB point 1734-ASC card, in controller program we are using a program tag .ReceiveRecordNumber

Can anyone put some light on this tag (.ReceiveRecordNumber), that what this tag is and its significance...?

As per my understanding programmer had used this to check the new barcode number after every scan by comparing ReceiveRecordNumber with the previous one.
