In the supplied project when you install FT SE 9
there is a trend display that has a Create Snapshot
button and a edit box for string data
I have tried to use that in my application
and have imported the tags required as well as
the DBF and trend templates, but am still unable to
get it to work. Anyone have any ideas what I am missing
 
Both the button and edit box link to tags and shortcuts in the Fizz project.

Have you changed those links to match what is in your application?
 
Oh ok, So ::[ShortCut] refers to a RsLinx Enterprise shortcut in this case.

You can either use a device tag referenced through whatever your device shortcut is(you'll have to check this) or create a memory tag and change the path.
 
so im using rslinx because I have RSLOGIX5000 on the same machine
and I get a access from duel sources if I enable enterprise
I added shortcut to the topic but it is not showing up in the place as indicated above.

which tags are you refering to, I did add the Dashboard_Trending tags
 
you also have open the data log folder and set it up, then on the start up folder enable it data logging
 
In the PLC I created a UDT called PackD
and added three reals
Current_OEE_Quality
Current_OEE_Performance
Current_OEE_Availability
 
So these tags are now correct in the Dashboard_Trending folder and there is a topic called shortcut, but I am still confused on where this is ,
