Hi all,
Currently have a project to upgrade firmware of PLC's plant wide to their maximum allowed revision. All are control logix ranging from version 16 to 28. I need to know if they are series A or B, and most I have. The issue with the remaining PLC's is they are not easily accessible, and the process prevents powering down unless absolutely necessary.
My question is would it be possible to find out the PLC series by using for example the GSV function? I have tried it on a test bench but can't seem to get it.
Many Thanks
