Anybody know this component: 21AL2594?

I think it is a national semiconductor component and so I have already asked them, but they didn’t find it in their database.

Are there any other codes on the chip? You may have a date or lot code there. Sometimes a logo is printed on it too which will help.

yes, i already try it...thank you

and it is the National Semiconductor logo.
I asked them but they didn't find anything in their database.

Closest think I could find was a Step down voltage regulator in a 8 pin dip:

2594

I am not sure for that (because it seems this is CMS component with more pins)...but i will study the question today and i will tell you.

in fact, you may find the good component because it's a 8 pin dip...but above the number '2594' it is written 21AL...What does it mean ? because regulator references are 'LM' number, aren't it?
