FactoryTalk Linx unknown device

Hello all,

I have an issue where RSLinx classic can see a PLC just fine.

But when I use FactoryTalk Linx Browser to browse to the same PLC it shows up as , unknown device.


Why can RSLinx identify the PLC but FactoryTak Linx can't?

TechConnect had me add a driver directly to the Ethernet interface , right-click add driver, and then selecting the PLC..That seems to work.


They said sometimes old PLCs just doesnt get automatically picked up...
