Hello,
I have an application where I'm using a Ctrl lgx plc w/ ethernet IP cards and Escort memory systems RF id units HS500E. I have Phoenix Contact Managed switch and Phoenix unmanaged switches hooking the network together. Problem is I cannot hook my HMI or I/O's to the network because response time to ping RF unit is 40ms. Once the RF units are by themselves in the network they ping at 1-2ms. Problem is when everything is running the RF units do not read/write and poll as fast as they should. Should be 1sec and I'm getting 7sec.
Does anyone have experience using the RF technologfy with ctrl lgx plc and Phoenix Ethernet switches??????
