Dear friends,

I'm configuring a controller now.. and for thermocouple input of the range -200°C to 900°C the input resolution given in the data sheet is =<0.05K. I'm confused what is this "K"...

Can anyone help me??

A span of 0.05K = a span of 0.05C.

IOW, 1 Kelvin and 1 degree C are the same size - the only difference is Kelvin is defined as 0.0 at absolute 0 while Celsius is defined as 0.1C at the tripple point of water.

A temperature of 0 degrees Kelvin is equal to -273 degrees Celcius
One degree Kelvin is the same as one degree Celcius
So:
- 0 degrees Celcius is 273 degrees Kelvin
- 200 degrees Celcius is 473 degrees Kelvin
- 900 degrees Celcius is 1173 degree Kelvin
