Need help getting around password on Micrologix 1000. Just got this machine in from our Mexico plant, and I cannot upload the file or go online. It says that I need a password or a master password. Is there any way around this?

The only legal way to get around this is:
1. Get the password from Mexico.
2. Contact Allen-Bradley.
3. Wipe out the existing program, and start over from scratch.

Tried calling AB. They want money. Guess we'll try calling Mexico. They're not usually much help though. Thanks for your help.

The micrologix series does not have a master password to bypass the pass lock, you must send the unit to allen bradley, and they will wipe the memory,program included.

This corresponds to MLCLRMEM on a telephone keypad. This will clear your processor memory, clear the password, and set the processor back to factory defaults. This is as close to a master password as you are going to get.
