Compact Logix Serialport Object

Hi All
I am trying to change the Serial port configuration from System to USER mode through couple of CIP messges on Compact logix L35E processor. But i am getting some error. Here is the CIP messages order and structure:

MSG_1

Msg Type: CIP generic
Msg Service: Set Attriute Single
Service Code: 10
Class : 0x6F
Instance: 1
Attribute: 106 (0x6A)
Souorce Element: Mod_tag (user defined tag, containing value 0xA3)
Source Length: 1

Under Communication Tab:
Path: 1,0


On this message i am getting an error "Undefined or unsupported attribute, error code : 0014"

MSG_2

Msg Type: CIP generic
Msg Service: Apply Attribute
Service Code: 0x0D
Class : 0x6F
Instance: 1
Attribute: 0

Under Communication Tab:
Path: 1,0


does any body know why i am getting this error, i have tried putting both 106 or its hex equivalent 6A, but same problem. Also will this thing work in order to change the Serial port mode from System to User? or do i have to do something else? Thanks in advance

Ditch the user defined tag. Thinking there is a problem with that. The processor is in slot 0 isn't it?

Guess you already read THIS. I have a program doing this and I'm pretty sure you are on the right track. Not where I can view it right now

What was wrong?

I guess it was a problem from DINT to SINT...somehow it was not being converted properly.
