I am trying to program a simatic S5 memory submodule using "step 5 EPROM Programming v1.1". The memory was plugged into a pg using a S5Prog Adapter.

The message I get is " The EPROM driver registers an error. Error no. 900 USB prommer locked / not connected."

I get this with a number of EPROMS and I know the EPROMS are healthy.

Can anyone explain what this error actually means and how I can resolve it.

Thanks

Project \ set \ EPROM \ Prommer type = internal, and select mode word/byte

then menu
Management \ EPROM handling ...
