Devicnet and Guardlogix system

I am just about to start a design for a large system with devicenet using E3 plus and guardlogix for safety. Anybody had any experience of this? What pitfalls should I look out for?

About 30 E3s and 48 guardlogix i/o blocks. The distances are up to 250m from the PLC.
