Sorry to bring this back up but i just remembered the name of the dog..Scraps..not gramps...i would have posted in the other thread but that one seems to have dissapeared..:) (Not a bad thing..)

I must admit i enjoy a silly thread every now and again BUT we did take that thread over when we shouldnt have..I appologise to the OP..

The smoke and mirrors thread was fun for a while..i know some people have no time for this but it's what keeps some us sane...

Now about my drinking problem..(As i throw the drink over my shoulder!!)

"look out he has a broken milk carton!"

LOL..It still crack's me up..

D

Hey Darren,

The reason that thread was dumped was the password stuff...I don't think Phil would of deleted it for the trash talk....look at S&M he let it stay :D

I didn't think the dog was gramps...

I figured it was something like that..Note to Phil..some other borads i visit have a different section for OT stuff..Suggestion?

BTW G.I.T..did you know that across the pond a GIT is a word??

Yah, it was brought to my attention...I thought about a identity change... but I figured that everyone could tell who I was by my grammar :D

I didn't think that gramps sounded correct when I sent it but I knew the gist of it was ok and I figured someone would correct it. I bow to your obvious superiority in all matters Flying High (that's what it was called over here)..:geek:

i cant believe they call movies different names "down under"..

And the dog "Princess" who was actually a Prince was from "Police academy"

Ahh geez, bad grammar. It is "Y'all git down outen that thar tree." offen may be used stead of outen.

GIT them doggies rollin, RAWHIDEEEEEEEEE.

Sounded good but the song actually went like this:
Keep movin', movin', movin',
Though they're disapprovin',
Keep them doggies movin' Rawhide!

Don't try to understand 'em,
Just rope and throw and grab 'em,
Soon we'll be living high and wide.

My heart's calculatin'
My true love will be waitin',
Be waiting at the end of my ride.

Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!

Set 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in Rawhide...

Actually you are right, I typed out a short version, this is the full version.

Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Though the streams are swollen
Keep them dogies rollin', rawhide
Rain and wind and weather
Hell-bent for leather
Wishin' my gal was by my side
All the things I'm missin'
Good victuals, love and kissin'
Are waiting at the end of my ride

Move 'em on, head 'em up
Head 'em up, move 'em on
Move 'em on, head 'em up
Rawhide
Count 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, count 'em out
Count 'em out, ride 'em in, rawhide

Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though they're disapprovin'
Keep them dogies movin', rawhide
Don't try to understand 'em
Just rope 'em, throw and brand 'em
Soon we'll be living high and wide
My heart's calculatin' [or Rawhide's calculatin' / His true love...]
My true love will be waitin'
Be waitin' at the end of my ride

Rawhide!
