PV600 to 1500 passthrough?

Hello all,
A quick search of the forums revealed that no-one has asked this question before. So here it is.
Can I go online with a Micrologix 1500 LSP(SerC) using the second port on a 2711-t6c-16L1 ser.B rev.F frn4.46 (color pv600 touch with 2 RS232 ports)?
All indications I have thus far say no. My other option that I'm currently working on is to setup 2 AIC+ modules on my cart to connect the PV and SLC together to allow me acess to the program and PV functionality simultaneously.
