Can I create a tag in panelbuilder 32 that will update my RTC on a Micrologix 1200 so that when I change time/date on Panelview configuration screen it writes to RTC on processor. Thanks

Don't know which PV you have but check out "status tags" and "control tags" under "application settings" then "terminal setup" in PB32 to see if that may be of any use to you.

From what I recall, the only way to set the RTC is via the Function Files tab in RSlogix.

Anyone know of a way without entering the function tab in RSlogix?

Use the CPW (copy word) fuction

I don't think you can copy the value into the RTC. It has to come from a message outside of the processor

He will need a series "C" controller to use it.
