Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to detect communication error (lost of communication) between PVP1500 and PLC and how to show that in the form of some indicator?

In case of lost of communication between PVP1500 and PLC, is it possible to turn off remote display control (actually to set remote display number to 0)?

Any help will be appreciated.

On the first question, yes: There's a pre-defined Item for each Device Shortcut in RSLinx Enterprise called "@IsPresent" that reflects the connection status to a controller. I use it to put a "don't panic, it's just unplugged" indicator onscreen.

I'm not sure about handling remote display control, though. Maybe another member who has done it can chime in.
