Modbus configuration

Hi All ,

I am using S7 -200 (226 XM ) PLC. I want to connect modbus to it. But i don't know about modbus. To connect modbus what is configuration that should be done in 226 PLC . ( PORT 0 ).

Please send me the answer if any body knows.

Also i want to know where can i get the data regarding modbus basics.

The Modbus specification is at Modbusida.org, but the spec is more helpful to engineers developing Modbus than to those who just want to use Modbus.
