Does anyone know what happens to a 1756-DNB Devicenet Scanner when you flash it with newer firmware?

Will it keep the *.dnt config file? or do I have to download again ?

I´ve never done it, but just in case have a backup of the *.dnt file and have the latest version of rsnetworx for devicenet.

Every time I have upgraded a 1756-DNB, it has retained the scanlist in nonvolatile memory. Usually I am making incremental upgrades: v3 to v4, v5 to v6, etc.

I would nonetheless recommend backing up the scanlist !

Eddie willers is correct it retains but it not advisable backup is must before upgrade
