Can anyone tell me how to force a Panel View Plus to go to config mode if the existing appl'n never had a shutdown button? I tried to force it via a firmware upgrade but it gave a message indicating that the terminal did not have enough memory and that it needed to be shutdown and applications removed to free up memory. I even downloaded a new application while it was running to try to force it but that did not work either (new appl'n appeared to download OK but the old appl'n continued to run).
I had heard about a config utility that you could get and put on a compact flash. I think you would insert the compact flash into the slot on the HMI and cycle power and on boot up, it would go to the compact flash and use the utility and go into config mode.
Would appreciate any one's reply.
