Panel View Plus 7 Performance & Windows 7

I want to run a factory talk view ME project in a Panel View Plus 7 Performance HMI. The project was developed in a 'Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Operating system'. Is it possible?

In HMI user manual I found below

Microsoft® Windows® operating system:
• Series A (and Stainless Steel Series A and B): Windows CE 6.0
• Series B (and Stainless Steel Series C): Windows 10 IoT Core

In general, an MER file will run fine on a PV+ as long as it was compiled for the correct type of HMI (compact, standard, performance, etc.) and the firmware version of the HMI is at least as high as the compiled file. The OS of the development PC shouldn't matter. I say "shouldn't" because it's certainly possible to be a problem but in my experience it doesn't matter. As long as the MER file is correct for the target device.
That information in the manual looks like it's for the OS running behind the scenes on the HMI itself.

As long as you can run FTME version on your PC and create the .mer, OS doesn't matter. I use Windows 7 virtual machine for FTME versions 8 to 12.

I'm going to highjack this a little bit but in order to have multiple FTME versions, each one has it's own VM correct? I think that goes the same for FTSE?

You can have FTME and FTSE (Factory
Talk View) coincide, but yes, I have separate VMs for each version.
