Micro 1500 and panel veiw cant get online

Ok I have a micrologic 1500 1746-24bwa with a panelveiw
2711-m3a19L1

Rslinx or rslogics wont comunacate with the plc. I tryed to use a 1761-cbl-pm02 cable (this is the one I use on all other micros and it wont work

But the panel view is pluged in this port and not on the side do I have to do something differnt or do I need a diferent cable

Your PV is DH485 protocol. If the ML1500 and the PV were communicating then the port on your ML1500 is configured for DH485. You will need to use the 1747-PIC/AIC+ driver in RSLinx to talk to your devices. You will need a real serial port to use this driver. Or a 1747-UIC.
The Cat.no. you gave for your ML1500 is incorrect and not complete.
The cable you listed should work for both devices.

You mention above the port on the side.
On a Micrologix 1500 this is a second serial port, and if you get a null modem cable, with 9 pin to 9 pin D shell conectors, I believe you can use a DF1 RS232 driver to get access.
