Panleview 1000 Firmware upgrade error

I have a panelview 1000 (2711-T10G9) that is giving an error 74 on boot. I just replaced the display in it and it worked fine on initial boot. I noticed the firmware was old so I decided to upgrade it to 4.43 using the file G10TDH4.EXE. I get an error here too... FIRMWARE FILE IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH HARDEWRE.
I have tried other firmware files but they give the same error but I feel this is file that matches my PV1000 the best. Any ideas?
