S7-200 comm example

Hi there,
could anyone attach a S7-200 224 <-> S7-200 224 communication example using netr/w instuctions on ports 1 please? a simple 1:1 db9 cable enough to establish connection, am I right? all I need is to send 4 words and get back other 4 .. I`ll be verry thankful!!
