Ok here is what I have, First I'm new to Siemens and Imap but here goes.
siemens step 7 5.3 with I-map2.0 add on.
I have added a pin to the output of my component and I need to get it into the lib so I can then get it into i-map.

After saving the new component I get lost..

I will assume that you added the output pin via the 'create PROFINET interface' selection in Simatic manager. When this is done, select 'create PROFINET component' and this will save the new configuration for that component. Then start iMap, right click in the library window and select 'Inport Component', navigate to the folder that simatic manager saved the edited component to and select the correct component. The new component is now ready to use within your project. To easily update your iMap project, right click the component in the project window that you have updated and select 'replace', then select the updated component from the library.
