Please provide the complete catalog number of your Panelview.

The cable needed from your PC/laptop to the PV is a 9 to 9 pin straight thru cable.
The cable needed from your ML1500 ( 8 pin port) to your PV is AB's 2711-NC21 or 22 ( its also a straight thru cable ( 9 pin to 8 pin).
Configure RSLinx the same as you would for your ML1500 DF1 protocol.

HI AGAIN
This is my cenario I have micrologix 1500 1764-LRP and its channel #0 connected to panelview 300 DF1 port through cable 2706-NC13.
I communicate with plc using cable 1761-CBL-PM02 with RSLINX/ laptop but the only problem I have that I can not see panelview on RSLINX. Thanks and waiting for your replies.
This is my cenario I have micrologix 1500 1764-LRP and its channel #0 connected to panelview 300 DF1 port through cable 2706-NC13.
I communicate with plc using cable 1761-CBL-PM02 with RSLINX/ laptop but the only problem I have that I can not see panelview on RSLINX. Thanks and waiting for your replies.

To be clear, you want to see your ML1500 and the PanelView at the same time while connected to the Ml1500 thru its port Channel 1.
The ML1500 does not support pass-thru. So, no can do.
You would have to have a DH485 PV and one of the ML1500 ports configured for DH485 and a AIC module to do this.
Or maybe a port splitter ( not sure about this one ,never used it)see link.

Thanks for the fast reply and now I understand why I can not see the pv but if I want to only upload/download the panelview file using panel builder 32 do I have to refer to you previous post or there is other alternative. Thanks again

There only one way to do it. Use that cable you referred to above ( 2706-NC13) its a straight thru cable. Disconnet it from the ML1500 and connect it to your PC/laptop. Or check out that port splitter above, again not sure about it.
