Hi All

I record the temperature of a cooking vessel every 2 seconds via an opc server and I have just been given the below formula to graph.

pasteurisation value : VP=Δt * 10^(-(T-T0)/z)

Δt : 1 minute

T= core temperature of the product

T0=70°C

z=10

Any idea what this is all about??

where is my x an y to plot the graph!!!!

Many Thanks - in Advance

I would plot time on the X axis (whatever is appropriate - 5min or whatever) and BOTH pasteurization and temperature on two separate Y axes.

Why don't you ask the person that gave you the formula? It is no disgrace to ask questions!

Obviously this is a time at temperature restriction to insure bacterial kill. I suspect it is a batch process, and until the time elapses they want to continue the pasteurization.
