I have RSLogix 4.5 and plan on installing it under WinXP running under VMWare on my Mac laptop. I have no Serial port and would like to use this cable:

to program a 5/03. Will RSLinx require a special driver to talk through the USB port. I have an old Dell with an rs-232 port on it but would rather not use it and would like to use this cable if it will work in the place of the $50 version.
