Hi i wonder if any one can clear things out for me,
im going to use Festo´s MTR_DCI servo drive
and when i reading the manual i dont really get it,
on page 30 in the English manual we have few input parameter

position mode
Absolute_relative =
"false" nominal value is absolute
"true" nominal value is relative to last nominal value

so if i get this right, if i put this in false and
Set_Value_Velocity= something
Set_Value_Position = 100
the cylinder will go to that distance from zero (home position) and stay

and if i then send a new value
Set_Value_Position = 50
the cylinder will go back to 50 from zero (home position) and stay
is that right?
