hi anybody know or have any idea about DCS and PLC interfacing,,,,,,
any body know anything about Emmerson process's deltav system,,,,,
how to programm that thing??????

check out www.easydeltav.com for more details about DeltaV DCS.

Generally DCS has its own Hardware but when PLCs are used as a part of control hardware they call it Hybrid Control System e.g. Allen Bradley 5555 Proces Logix Series which Honeywell uses with its Plantscape DCS nowdays.Plantscape has a built in OPC Server which makes it easy for AB Process Logix PLCs to talk with Plantscape DCS Software.
I am sure Delta V also has a OPC Server which can talk to different OPC based PLC Clients from different manufacturers.
