I've been trying to determine if I've lost all the AIC cards on my DH485 network. In my lab I have 5 HMI's each of which have an AIC card and one for the SLC 503. I'm testing out a competitors HMI which required a special cable. I made the cable wrong and can't get the smoke back into one of my AIC cards. Unfortunately after removing the damaged card I can not get the others to work properly. Is it possible I damaged the entire network as the they are all dasiy chained together via 24VDC and the network cables?
What is odd is that I've been able to communicate to some of them through RSLinx but only when directly connected via a PIC to the PC and 1747-C10 cable to the PLC. Typically if I have the 1747 cable plugged into one of the AIC cards on the network I can plug my PIC into any of the other ones and the skys are blue. Not so much any more... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
