Hi,
I have SLC 5/03 with 1747-AIC (DH485) modules. Original HMI was PV550, this HMI was replaced to a PanelView 800 (2711R-T7T), communicating is throught DH485 (DHX2 port).
I have problem with communicating throught 1747-AIC module.
If i connect HMI directly to RJ45 port on a SLC5 / 03, everything is OK, HMI communicating with the CPU, i have data.
If i connect HMI throught the AIC module (Peripheral port), my HMI dont communicating ..
1747-AIC module have 3 ports,
TOP: DH485 (screw terminals)
MIDDLE: Peripheral (original PanelView 550 was connected to this port)
BOTTOM: CPU (SLC 5/03 - RJ45).
The situation is:
SLC5 / 03 -> 1747-AIC (CPU port)
1747-AIC (peripheral) -> PanelView800
1747-AIC (DH485 screw connecntor) -> Next 1747-AIC (This AIC module is only to remotely connecting for CPU).
I created a serial cable for communicating between CPU and HMI, with RJ45 connector (
pin 1 - R +, T +, pin 2 - R-, T-, pin 4 and 7 - S)
Does anybody know, what is difference between CPU and Peripheral port? ( except for dimensions )?
If i´ll look to a original 1747-C10 cable, this cable have pins in the connector connected 1:1
What is Bad..
Bad connection? Or other problem?
I know, easy way is remove AIC modules, but
i´d like use these modules for remotely connecting to the CPU.
