I have a micrologixs 1100 that I am experimenting with on line edits. I have a sample program I downloaded at the bench, i can then go in and edit for example a normally open contact and change it to be looking for a normally closed contact.

How can you delete a whole rung using the online edit.
I selected the rung, then selected to begin on line edits, when I select delete, it just takes it out of on line edit mode.

Any suggestions, my first attempt at this.

While online, highlight the rung(s) on their left power rail side. Hit the DELETE key on your keyboard. Depending on if your PLC is in RUN or PROGRAM mode, you will either test, assemble, commit or immediately commit.
