RS5K Edits exist

Hi,

How does one find edits in a RS5k program, or at least confirm that edits exist?

I was in the middle of something recently, and then all of a sudden the 'Edits Present'message displayed. Whenever I have been editing online in the past, this has always been 'no edits', but now I cannot find where there are any edits.

I have checked all tasks, and it does not appear to be related to a specific task, is it specific to program logic, or can it be related to other config issues etc?

In the Online Toolbar click where it says Edits Present (not on the dropdown, but on the actual text). The toolbar will change to show the status of edits/lock in the controller. On the right part of the toolbar is an icon that is "Find Edits". Click on that and select Find All to search for all edits.

You might need to click on the Find Within button on the Find windows and then select Ladder Diagram and then Rung Types.

Seems to be the simple things that elude me of late...

Excellent, took me to exactly where I had started to delete some device logic that was not longer required. It was in a task that I don't edit that often, so when I was accepting edits in other tasks, this one slipped through.
