micrologix 1500

Lancer's question is a good one.

There are several ways to do this. The most common are probably:

* Tachometer
* Count pulses per time period and calculate to RPM
* Count time between pulses (assume 1 pulse per rotation) and calculate.

Let us know which method you want to use and we'll get you going.

Use both the HSC and STI function files. The STI will execute on a periodic rate that you determine. Calculate the RPM in the STI based on the change in counts since it was last executed.

sti module

How do I get the measure of sti?

I do the following
sts start the sti
PFN = Number of ladder of hsc
UIE = 1
AS = 1
SPM = Amount of time to interrupt the hsc
thank you

I want to thank everyone, but my pc suffered severe damage and had to get a new one to do these tests.
I urge apology pc
