Hi all. I'm looking for an economic solution for connecting five pv550's to a L552 processor. The customer has specified the processor. I know that all-round ethernet would be the tidiest way, but times five it becomes a bit expensive. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

How about using a different brand HMI like Red Lion, EZTouch, CMore, etc.?

If you need to use the PV550 then you can get a PV550 with RS232/DF1 communications. Your SLC processor has a RS232/DF1 port.

What about dh485 on the 550's and set the rs232 port on the slc to dh485 ?
And no you cant communicate rs232 to 5 panelviews as far as i know!
