Reading data from S7300 with Excel

Hello,

I have an S7300 plc (cpu 317 PN/DP) and i want to
see realtime values in an Excel sheet.

I think that i should use an OPC Server, so i have downloaded
and installed the demo Kepware OPC Server and i have managed
to read data from the plc with the server

What i must do Know to read the values direct from Excel. Can
anybody give an example ?

You will need an OPC server.
The Kepware OPC will give you a CSV file which Excel can read.

For showing the data in excel from S-7 300 PLC you can use SQL server & WINCC.
1. SIMATIC WINCC V6.2 SP2
2.Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 1 for Wincc v6.2
