Hi All

I want to know about GE 90-70 CPU redundancy. Please guide me which Hardwares it would require? how H/W config has to made and how Cpu redundancy is established.

any Sample program?? welland good or U can explain me in detail.

Thanks in advance

Fro 90-70 Redundancy you need, 2 Racks, 2 CGR Redundancy CPU's, 2 Redundancy Communications Modules (RCM), 2 Bus Transmitter Modules (BTM), 2 BTM to RCM connection cables and 2 modules for however you are going to control I/O, mostly either GENIUS or Ethernet to ENIU's.

Redundancy is configured with Proficy Machine Edition software. The same exact logic goes into both controllers but they have seperate configurations as one is Primary, the other Secondary.

Transfer between controllers is bump and seamless. It works, I have setup over 100 of these with virtually no issues. For more info, go to support.gefanuc.com and search for 90-70 Redundancy and GENIUS Global Modular Redundancy (GMR).
