Cable for connecting modem(rs232) and Series 90

Please anybody tell me how to make a cable to connect GEFanuc Series 90 micro (IC200UAL006/RS232/RS422/RS485) and modem (RS232) on RS232
I try this one but doesn't work.

IC200UAL006 MODEM (TD-29)
DB 15 (male) DB9(male)
(4) RD ------------------ (2) SD
(6) SD ------------------ (3) RD
(5) GND ----------------- (5) GND

i never used that PLC but quick look on their website
was enough to find the communication manual.
Check the appendix pages A4 and A5.
The first two sentences on page A4 say that in order to connect
to a RS232 device you must have an 422<>232 converter.
Schematic is on page A8.
