profinet with vb (dll?)

Hi all,

Does anyone knows of a library to connect to siemens plc's trough profinet?
We are writing an application, and want to connect to some siemens 1200 plcs, but we don't want to use opc (a little expensive for this application). so we are looking for a library to use with vb or .net to read and write some values direct from the plc.

any suggestions?

There is Libnodave which is an open source library.

And there are libraries that you have to pay for once (developer license):

Deltalogic AGLink.

Indi.an.
This is quite new. They dont mention S7-1200, but you can try the freeware version to check yourself.
