micrologix 1500 with PV+ 600 using 2711p-RN3

hi all
I am trying to connect ML 1500 with PV+600 using 2711P-RN3.
PLC side i have AIC+,but i am confused about cable required from RN3 to AIC?
please help?

Based on the bottom of page 78 of THIS PDF, you need a 1761-CBL-AS03 cable.

correct me if i am wrong but doesnt that cable have a 6 pin pheonix to RJ45? for connecting AIC to panelview or AIC to SLC's etc.

you need a 6 pin pheonix to 6 pin pheonix

i have had a quick look for one but crnt locate a suppier, but havent spent much time inverstigating. maybe you have to just buy the plugs and make the cable yourself

FYI i usually use Belden 9842 cable for that.

The RN3 module has an RJ-45 port. See the picture on page 9.

oh sorry i have a panelview 1000 which has an RN6 and uses pheonix style for DH485, i was under the ilusion that the RN3 and RN6 were identical but one covered PV+400-600 and the other 700+

My Bad!!
