HELLO TO ALL,

I DIDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS EXACTLY A LINKS ON TCP.


ACTUALLY I SEARCH FOR A NETLINK PRO.
I GOT IT BUT IN NETLINK FEATURES
THERE IS ONE POINT.

6 lINKS ON TCP
CAN U PLEASE HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT EXACTLY IT MEANS

but my netlink pro is not a made of softing
its from HELMHOLZ
and they dont specify such thing in manual or product cat.

so get confused.

but is it apply for all mAde
i mean is it Means connection more pc at a time

is it like that each time we have to change ip/ address or
how it work?
on ethernet we use to do setting manually or it detect directly?

Before you said Pro. Now you say Lite ?
There is no Netlink Lite on Helmholz website.

Apart from that, it seems quite simple.
The Netlink has to have an IP address.
Then up to 6 PCs can connect to the MPI/DP net via the Netlink. All external connections can find the Netlink by its set IP address.
 
You havent told what the Netlink is to be used for, but if it is for programming via STEP7, then you have to install the driver whereafter there will be a Netlink Pro entry in the Set PG/PC Interface. It is described in chapter 5 in the manual.
 
ur right netlink lite is earlier product of helmholz
u can see product cat on cat-10

but what to do in tcp/ip configuration
as there is only one space
i mean only ip address is entered
and if we connect more pc
then each pc has its own ip address
then how we can connect a pcs at time on same
