Hi Guys, i need help setting up a analogue speed input on a fr-e540-2.2k-ec inverter, at the momment we control the speed manualy but now we need our plc/remote i/o (1734 allen bradley) to control the speed, i have an analogue module set up which it is 0-10v i have connected analog to 2+ 5 on the inverter but i am not to sure how much i me to change in the inverter settings?? i think pr79 needs to be 0 & pr73= 0? can anyone help?

I'm not an expert and I don't have the E series manual but I think you may need to adjust Parameter 903 as well.
Be sure RH, RM, and RL are off or they will override your signal.

Steve.

hi dave
i took your advice and replaced it with a powerflex 40 and all working, thanks for your time. stu

To Dave

I tend to agree with you, the 500 series are obsolete now, but check out the new A700 series, they are powerful, and i have to give them this, they are very user friendly.🍻
