VB6 & Lenze Drive with Profibus

Well, i'm trying to communicate with a Lenze drive (an 9400) from a PC. It has a profibus card installed (PBpro-PCIe from softing). The main problem is a have no experience using profibus, i spent a whole day trying to communicate with the drive without results.

I'm using a basic cable with only the needed connections (pins 3, 5 & 8), without terminators.

Attached are the GSD file for the drive and the source code in VB6 supplied by softing
