Is there a way to make a variable non-volatile in a BC9000 when a digital input is cycled on / off? Change a variable to a constant? make the constant equal to the variable?

Right now, when we replace cylinders, there is a variance in the resistance of the replacement cylinders. We have been adjusting a pot put in series with the resistance to compensate.

I am reading the position of the cylinder through an analog card anyway, I would like to be able to press a button and make the value of the cylinder closed position permanent through power up / down.
