What is 1784-KTX replacement or alternative.

I haven't used any in years, but they do have a 1784-PKTX for PCI slots, and a 1784-U2DHP USB to DH+ adapter.
One of those might work, probably the U2DHP is the best bet now. There was a mini-review on that here.

Two of the three options I can think of are mentioned by rdrast the third item I will add is a Control Logix gateway that can take you from DH+ to Ethernet, where most networks seem to be headed for the future
