Why can I not place a timer TML009 in a rung?
Tried to add one after a NO contact and would not let me,
it is in an or rung with 2 other lines

No idead with Idec
But - are you sure you have the correct timer address
and do you have the constants or presets set (some PLCs need this)
Is your PLC in Program mode - or online program mode
should it be in the centre of a line or at the end.

sorry for not being more helpfull
But you have been waiting for a while

From years ago. DOS.
Timer follows same rules as output coil. In Bolean, Input logic, Timer, Output.
Lod1
And2
Tim1
100 (10 seconds)
Out 200 (coil tied to timer)
You should be able to have multiple branches on input.

that is almost the same as the old omron/hitachi
TML009 would be a "long" timer greater than 999 - maybe

that timing function may not be available in some PLC's
This is common with older Omron's
the Processor is not designed to handle that timer.
